On A busy bus to Waterloo station,
Life is running and racing,
In the city time is wasting.
My priorities clogg up together
Like the traffic blocked for ever
At a red light in the city center.
A crowd of people shout and moan.
Hundreds are on their phones,
But each person is on their own.
Mixed cultures, some look funny.
All searching for wealth and money,
The land of milk and honey….
To get away from the busy sparks,
They find themselves in the local park.
Looking for light in the dark.
They find themselves in the local park.
Looking for light in the dark.
